Hoping to leave the ghosts of Neptune High behind her, Veronica is now a freshman at Hearst College, along with her boyfriend, Logan Echolls, and best friends, Wallace Fennel and Cindy "Mac" Mackenzie. But despite the students' efforts to soak up the college experience in their own way, it quickly becomes obvious that some ghosts are here to stay.
Add the increasingly dangerous private investigator business run by Veronica's father, Keith (Colantoni), to her spreading reputation around campus as a girl who can fix the unfixable, and it becomes clear that Hearst College has never encountered a student like Veronica Mars before. Building on its trademark twists and turns but featuring a new campus, new faces and new surprises, "Veronica Mars“ promises to keep old and new fans alike guessing in its third season.
The Veronica Mars - The Complete 3rd Season listing at TLA Video shows an October 23rd release date for the 6-DVD set. There's also a listing at Columbia House, with full-sized cover art.We checked with Warner, who says the October date is correct and it should be officially announced shortly.
Because that announcement isn't formal yet, Warner would not confirm so far the other information at TLA Video's listing. But we'll pass on that it shows a $59.99 SRP, with English Dolby Digital 5.1 and subtitles in French and Spanish, plus closed captioning. The 20 episodes will run 900 minutes, plus there will be Deleted Scenes, Audio commentary with creator Rob Thomas, a “Making of” featurette for the CW pitch presentation with Veronica in the FBI, and a Gag Reel. Sounds good! We'll update you if Warner's official info shows anything different.
